The Tour de Suisse in
LA Punt

La Punt Chamues-ch, situated at the foot of the Albula Pass, has an important past as a trading center along the Albula line, to which the stately patrician houses from the 16th and 17th centuries bear witness. Today, the “Swiss Village of the Year 2021” presents itself as active, close to nature and connecting. And this not only because the bridge over the Inn River connects the two districts of La Punt and Chamues-ch. In summer, the surrounding area tempts visitors to take part in varied tours on mountain bikes, racing bikes or on foot, for example on the Engadin High Trail.
For the tenth time already, La Punt is acting as a stage stop of the Tour de Suisse. The ride over the Albula Pass has already become a tradition when the Tour de Suisse comes to La Punt. By the way, hobby cyclists also have the opportunity to ride the pass without motorized traffic every September on the occasion of the slowUp Mountain Albula.
