Campus Sursee, Oberkirch: where endurance meets education

 

On 13th and 14th June 2025, Campus Sursee, Oberkirch will be dedicated to cycling. The second stage of the Tour de Suisse starts on Friday, 13th June. Visitors will have the opportunity to observe the preparations of the TdS cycling pros and cheer them on at the start.

From Olten and Lucerne:

Direct connection to Sursee railway station

Travel time: approx. 30min

 

From Zurich HB:

Change trains in Olten or Lucerne, then continue to Sursee railway station

Travel time: approx. 1h15min

 

From Bern:

Direct connection to Sursee railway station

Travel time: approx. 1h

 

From Sursee railway station to the starting area of the Tour de Suisse:

By bus (subject to a charge):

The Sursee campus (Festival Village/starting area) is easily accessible by bus until 16:00.

Departure: Sursee railway station, curb B (direction Oberkirch LU, CAMPUS Sursee)

Exit: Bus stop ‘Oberkirch LU, CAMPUS Sursee’

Travel time: approx. 6 minutes

 

NOTE ON RESTRICTIONS

Attention: On 13 June 2025, the bus service from Campus Sursee to Sursee station will be suspended between 16:00 and 18:00. This affects the services at 16:29, 16:59, 17:29 and 17:59.

Access to the Tour de Suisse site:

Access by car is very limited, so travelling by bike or public transport is recommended.

Parking P7:

Access to P7 (Situationsplan) via Dogelzwil possible.

Parking P3:

Access to P7 (Situationsplan) via Dogelzwil possible.

ATTENTION: On 13 June, car park P3 will not be accessible between 16:00 and 18:00.
